Galaga (1981) - A Classic Arcade Game
Galagais a classic arcade game developed and published by Namco Japan and by Midway in North America. It is an action-packed shoot-'em-up game and a sequel to 1979's Galaxian. The game is available for Play Station 4 in its full version.
The game starts with the player controlling a spacecraft at the bottom of the screen. Enemy aliens arrive in formation at the beginning of each stage, trying to destroy, collide with, or capture the spaceship. The player progresses every time the alien forces are vanquished. The game has simple controls, with the player moving the spacecraft left or right, and shooting the enemy aliens.
Galaga is one of the most successful games from the golden age of arcade video games. It has been widely popular, with its arcade version ported to many consoles and having several sequels. The game celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2011 with the release of Galaga 30th Collection for iOS. Galagais a must-play for fans of classic arcade games.
